A little bit about me
I’ve been goth since before it was goth – it was punk then, in case you don’t know. I’m so goth, I don’t have to wear the uniform. Goth (or punk) is a state of mind, not an age group, a clothing style, or a cult. Sometimes some idiot will suggest that you should “grow out of it” and one so-called punker I knew said he had to be as punk as he could now, because when he graduated from college he would have to be a staid, straight businessman.
IMHO if you “grow out of it” or can just decide “okay, now I’m not goth any more” you were never really punk or goth to begin with. The word “poser” comes to mind.
I am what I am, like me or don’t. If you chose to cross the street rather than meet me based on my clothing or lifestyle, that’s your loss – not mine.

A little bit about this blog
I’ve been blogging since before it was the big thing, too. I seem to always be a bit ahead of the curve and by the time it catches up I’ve moved on.
This blog is about and for anything goth. Clothes, music, opinions, whatever I feel like writing about or see somewhere I like that I think other goths might like, too.
I’m not doing it to make money, but I’m not adverse to it either.
I’m not writing for baby goths, the under 18 crowd, but for adults – over 18. Lots of goths are into alternative lifestyles (it’s almost definitive of goth come to think of it) including bisexuality, polyamory, cross-dressing, BDSM and so on. I’m not gonna avoid these subjects just because it might offend you. So if it might offend you – go away. If you are under 18, sorry but please go hang out at the mall or something until you are old enough to read this without offending your parents.
